Dosierung (الجرعة)

- 4,5 g i.v. 3×/d (oder 4,5 g 4×/d bei schweren Infektionen)
- Verlängerte Infusion (3–4 h) verbessert Wirksamkeit (PK/PD)

Indikationen (الاستطبابات)

- Schwere nosokomiale Infektionen, CAP stationär
- Intraabdominelle Infektionen
- Fieber in Neutropenie (empirisch)
- Pseudomonas-wirksam!

Kontraindikationen (موانع الاستخدام)

- Penicillinallergie

Prüfung الامتحان · Exam

Prüfungsfälle: (فخاخ الامتحان) PipTaz deckt Pseudomonas ab — Ceftriaxon NICHT! Bei V. a. Pseudomonas: PipTaz, Meropenem oder Ceftazidim.
Merksatz: (جملة للحفظ) PipTaz = breitestes β-Laktam inkl. Pseudomonas + Anaerobier. Fieber in Neutropenie → PipTaz empirisch.

Nebenwirkungen (الآثار الجانبية)

- Häufig: Diarrhö, Transaminasenanstieg
- Prüfungsrelevant: Hyponatriämie, Thrombozytopenie bei Langzeitgabe

Interaktionen (التفاعلات)

- Vancomycin: additive Nephrotoxizität (umstritten → Monitoring!)
- Methotrexat: Elimination ↓
